What is Minecraft Wave?
McWv, McWave or Minecraft Wave is a movement against Griefing, Hacking and everything else uncomfortable caused by players bad behaviour.
I'm a Minecraft Player, How does it work?
Let's say you and your favorite house just got destroyed by a player. Instead of raging, you take screenshots as proof, upload them and then post a Report on our website. When enough downvotes have passed, the player in question will be banned on all servers connected to Minecraft Wave.
I don't think banning encourages better behaviour.
Yes, in fact, we agree too. Just because of that, you may also Upvote different players because of good behaviour. You may also get rewards for doing well!
What if I get banned?
You may fill in a report to appeal your ban. Your banning time may also be decreased depending on different aspects.
I'm a Server Admin, How does it work?
To become a partner, you register your server on our website. Then, using RCON and Query (which must be enabled on each server), our servers import the banlist to your Minecraft Server.
Does my server require a plugin to use McWv?
No, as long as you have RCON and Query enabled in your server settings, it should be fine. There will however be both CraftBukkit plugins and regular server plugins for more advanced usage in the future.
